Great news! We're working hard on a new project called SimpleCork.

SimpleCork is a PHP framework that has been designed with the web developer in mind. Many frameworks exist today including CakePHP, ZendFramework, Symfony, and CodeIgniter but few, if any of those, allow a developer to use a single framework regardless of the project specifications and requirements.

Each framework is tailored towards a specific development style because it is nearly impossible to tailor a framework to suit every developer. However, here are Sprink we've done our best to make that a reality through SimpleCork.

SimpleCork is made of components, or classes, much like any other framework. The difference is that the core of SimpleCork is extremely lightweight and flexible and the heavier, less used components are left out of the core.

How Flexible is it?
Prefer normal PHP scripts over MVC? Sure! Is MVC your preference? We've got that too. How about a mix of both standard PHP scripts and MVC applications? YES!

The core is a lightweight structure to just barely get you off the ground no matter what kind of project you are working on. From there you can select additional components or write your own to piece together your own framework.

That's right - you can literally build your own PHP framework in just a few minutes with SimpleCork.

We'll keep you posted on the latest SimpleCork information right here on the Sprink blog.
